Reed's Sprayfoam Insulation was honored to be chosen to complete the insulation portion of this retrofit and new addition project for the Oakdale Christian Academy in Jackson, KY. On the roof deck, we applied 2 inches of 2 lb closed cell foam, which is a class II vapor barrier. In addition, 7 inches of .5 lb foam was applied to reach an R-38 value, as requested.

On the walls, we applied 2 inches of 2.0 lb class II vapor barrier closed cell foam to the perimeter walls. The result is a building that has superior insulation and will save on energy costs for years to come.
