About Brian Dove:

Brian is a proud and dedicated father of two whose work ethic is contagious. The same work ethic that he learned while spending 13 years in the coal mines is evident every day on the job. Never backing down from a challenge, he is known on the crew for getting in the toughest and most difficult areas that some jobs require. He is devoted to his family and faith in Jesus, and when he's not working, you might find him "out in the back woods" hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and enjoying the great outdoors with his two boys. Since Reed's services such a wide area across 5 states, one of Brian's favorite aspects of the job is getting to travel different places while meeting new people.

We had a crawlspace that flooded when it rained. There were a couple of occasions when two to three inches of standing water was in our crawlspace. Reed's Sprayfoam gave the cheapest of two bids to solve the problem. They dug a trench around the interior perimeter of the crawlspace . Perforated pipe was installed. A heavy white sheet was laid on the bare ground. It went up the piers and the exterior walls of the crawlspace. The crawlspace was not at ground level, which was one of the problems that produced flooding. Only about a foot of the house foundation, including the vents, was above ground level. The waterproof sheet was carried up the wall to just below the foundation vents. The vertical part of the sheet and foundation were coated with a rigid closed-cell foam up to the floor joists. Above that point an open-cell foam was used to allow the perimeter wood to breath and dry out. This closed-off the crawlspace vents. A dehumidifier was installed. The condensate from it, as well as the water flowing into the perforated pipe through the foundation, was directed to a sump pump. The output from the sump pump was piped through the foundation into a drain pipe that carried water from downspouts away from the house. As a final measure, the wood floor joists that had started to show a lot of various types of mold and mildew and dry-rot was treated with a penetrant that killed it and preserved the wood. There was a problem of water flowing in on top of the waterproof sheet after the first crew left. I called to have the problem corrected. Even though the company was about a five-hour one-way drive from us, a man, David Runyon, was dispatched to correct the problem. He corrected the problem within an hour or two. Based on my personal experience, I would have no problem at all recommending Reed's Sprayfoam. Their employees were curteous and considerate. The only crawlspace access was through the floor inside our house. Care was taken to keep the floor clean. We had almost no cleanup to do when they left.

I was very impressed with Brent who came out to quote us for cellulose spray in and Brian and Chris that came out to do it. However we all discovered that the builder had not given us the correct information so Reed’s was unable to do this but they were able to help us out by tearing down the walls and removing the rubbish that was in our new home wall. However that could only be done a week or two later. What impressed me from the get go as that Reed’s did not even charge us for the first time out and because of that and their professional attitude we decided to go ahead with a much bigger scope of work using them . The first three days of this project which was the tear down was not done professionally although Chris and Ryan worked well not much to say about the team lead. On Thursday our prayers were answered Tom Church Snr and Zach Croaff arrived at 10:45am and worked so hard at cleaning up the mess left by the team lead of the first three days, before they could start working on their part of the job. Tom and Zach had spent the night in Tennessee and arrived at 6:00am-6:30pm on Friday night then on Saturday Tom arrived at 7:30am and worked on the drywall etc until about 8pm. Tom then arrived on Sunday and work on the wall. Come Monday Tom arrived with Gary Butterbach and they go right into mudding and I felt confident that my walls would be done properly. Tom and Gary are perfectionists and I thank them for being that. Gary and Tom worked very hard on mudding and getting the texture right on my back walls. Today being Tuesday June 9,2020 Tom and Gary arrived early to paint my walls and finish off the job. They cleaned up the areas with their own implements and not using mine. Fantastic job Tom and Gary we are so pleased you were here. I must admit I would highly recommend using Reed’s and we will when we finish our basement. Thanks Reed’s we will definitely be in touch when we do our basement. The finished product and cost from Reed’s is amazing.
